Since 1960, the Jackson County Public Library has pledged to serve its patrons with the best materials, programming, and community gathering space possible in its Ripley and Ravenswood locations.

Our vision is to offer high quality materials in an attractive and easily accessible manner for all ages. We will strive to serve as the cultural, educational and recreational center of the community through reading discussion clubs, literacy materials and promotion, public performances, and other offerings and events that benefit the community.
